The Northeastern Ohio Live Steamers group is once again offering free rides on its miniature trains at the Lester Rail Trail in Medina County.
The group does this every month — one of the great perks of its relationship with the Medina County Parks — but this weekend’s rides are simply “spooktacular”! Children are encouraged to wear their costumes and enjoy Halloween-decorated scenes along the journey. Because these trains sit low to the ground, long and flowing garments are not a good idea.
And, unfortunately, with low temperatures expected in the mid 40s,  you’re going to need a coat over many of those costumes.
The rides, which last about 10 minutes, are offered 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) and Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m….
